For the second year in a row, we worked alongside Strava on the highly anticipated Year in Sport campaign. For 2023, we were looking to push things further than last year, chasing a new, edgier look and feel within Strava’s iconic brand.
In addition to the app experience, our team also worked on website design and trend reports, all showcasing athletes’ year in workouts, personal bests and hard work.
Imagine tracing the exhilarating journey of your favorite sports moments with the fluidity of a map polyline, while infusing them with the vibrant flair of a highlighter's vivid strokes.
The in-app experience is tailored to each Strava Athlete (user) and visualizes their training activities and stats from 2023.
The line represents the daily grind and the hard work: your heart rate as you climb a mountain, the struggle and tension of pushing yourself forward, your stroke rate as you swim in open water, and your effort as you push to finish the last mile of a marathon.
